Spotting punctuations

I read the book: I Can, Can You 

Then I counted the punctuation's in the book,

There is 10 question marks, and

There is 2 comma's, and

There is 7 full stops.

My Cool Cats.

How to draw a Cool Cat:

1. First we drew a cat on our whiteboard.
2. Next, we sketched a cat in our sketch books very, very carefully.

3. Mrs Kerr made our sketches bigger using the photocopier.

4. We chose 2 pastel colours and coloured VERY CAREFULLY.

5. Mrs Kerr said she would cut around the cats so we didn't accidentally snip off any ears.

6. We put them on the wall and they look AMAZING!!

My Fabulous Rocket.

First we read some poems about rockets. 

Then we made our own rockets! 

Here is what I wrote about my one:

My little rocket can

BLAST OFF.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1

BLAST OFF!

I Am Swimming.

I can go swimming in the school pool at Elm Park School. The water feels warm. One side is shallow and the other side is a bit deeper for me.

I can float with a noodle.

Year 1, 2020.

Here I am on my first day of school.

I am in Room 1 with Mrs Kerr.
