My Little Garden.

First we chose a box that had a plant cup in it.
Next, we opened it and took out the circle shape of dirt and put it on the plastic plate.
We put 50 mls of water in a little pink measuring cup and poured it on the soil.
It was like magic because the soil grew and grew and grew.
We put some soil in the cup with a plastic spoon.
Then we could put the seeds on the soil.
The seeds were little and stuck onto some paper.
We scooped all of the rest of the soil onto the seeds.
We put a post in the soil too, to tell us what was going to grow.
Now, the plants are sitting by the window and some of them are starting to grow.
HOORAY!
We need to water them when they are dry.
We hope they grow like a tree!!

Beginning My Calendar Art.

First I used my sketch pencil to make some patterns on this paper. Some lines are straight and some lines are curved. Next, I went over the pencil lines with a black vivid. Mrs Kerr said, be c-a-r-e-f-u-l. I am really proud of my work.

My Autumn Leaf.

We went outside on a sunny day and we lay down on our backs underneath a big Elm Park tree near to Room 1. We noticed that the leaves were falling down in the wind. We saw some of the rainbow colours. We said some words to Mrs Kerr and she wrote them on the laptop and made a Word Cloud. We chose the colours all by ourselves. We printed the words to make a leaf shape and Mrs Kerr carefully cut them out. They are going up on the Room 1 wall.

Ben's story writing

I am outside playing mechanic.
I am fixing my bike and adding some special parts to my bike.
I am adding a laser light.
I am adding a handle.
It is a sunny day so I am wearing a hat.

Mathematics

Thanks for the math exercises Mrs Kerr, Ben has loved solving the equations and can definitely see improvements as he completes them in a matter of minutes to seconds.
